Vaca Bikes Hub and Spoke Youth Tech Center

Vaca Bikes is a community-driven bicycle shop and youth development space based in Vacaville, California. Our mission is to provide affordable access to bicycles, teach hands-on mechanical skills, and create a safe, positive environment where young people can learn responsibility, teamwork, and confidence.

We operate as more than just a bike shop—we’re a mentorship hub. Volunteers play a key role in helping us repair and refurbish donated bikes, support youth as they learn basic to advanced bike mechanics, and keep the shop running smoothly. Whether you’re experienced with tools or just willing to learn, your time directly impacts local kids and families.

What Volunteers Do:

• Help clean, repair, and build bicycles
• Assist youth in learning bike maintenance and shop skills
• Organize tools, parts, and donated equipment
