Mariana Strategies is a consultancy that works with nonprofits and businesses to ensure their workplaces are inclusive, safe, and harassment free. In late 2017 the words “Me Too” were reverberating around the world and the experience of sexual harassment in the workplace was being discussed seemingly everywhere. Our laws hadn’t changed, but in that moment, our culture had. A purely legal approach to preventing workplace harassment had failed, and businesses were struggling to find a more robust way to prevent harassment. At that moment, Mariana Strategies was born. Since then, we have been working with businesses building systems of accountability, leadership commitment, and culture change.
