    Summary:

    The Data Specialist will be responsible for enhancing the work of the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) by ensuring the effective data recording of client-level information and services.

    Responsibilities:

    • Timely and accurate data entry into the NYS Child Advocacy Centers Collaborate database as required by OCFS.
    • Maintain the CAC’s CMS database for tracking client information and services, including serving as a liaison between the CAC and Safe Horizon’s Information Systems & Technology team and CAC staff.
    • Assist with the timely and accurate data entry into the CAC’s CMS database, including partner case disposition data.
    • Oversight of the implementation of the CAC’s Outcome Measurement System (OMS) project, including collecting and entering outcome data into the OMS database.
    • Assist with the collection and preparation of data for funder and other reports.
    • Assist with the submission and reconciliation of FRE and/or physical abuse claim forms to OVS.
    • Assist with the preparation of data for weekly Case Review meetings.
    • Integrate a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, using an anti-oppressive lens, into all aspects of your work.
    • Perform related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience and knowledge of data entry and database systems;
    • Experience working in non-profit or comparable organizations;
    • Experience with relevant data collection systems and reporting requirements, including city, state and federal funding;
    • High school diploma or GED;
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills, including detail-oriented;
    • Ability to work independently.
