The Sex Workers Project (SWP) of the Urban Justice Center provides free immigration legal services to people ages 18 and up who are current or former sex workers, trafficking survivors, or profiled as sex workers. Our legal team members are leading national experts on the intersections of sex work criminalization and federal immigration law in the United States.
SWP offers full and limited representation for deportation defense, immigration screenings, consultations, and representation on immigration cases before U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services.

A starting salary of $74,000-$78,529 depending on years of experience and excellent benefits package are offered, with generous vacation, personal, and sick time, along with industry-leading medical and dental coverage. This is a bargaining unit position represented for collective bargaining purposes by the Association of Legal Advocates and Attorneys - UAW Local 2325. Subject to work needs, the Sex Workers Project also offers flexible hours and hybrid work options.
