About Us
Located in the heart of historic Pike Place Market, Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank has served our Seattle neighbors since 1978. We're looking for a Bilingual Member Services Coordinator to be the welcoming, steady presence our senior members count on every day.
What you'll do: This role is the primary point of contact for members in both English and Spanish — providing information, offering interpretation, connecting people with resources, and calmly de-escalating conflict when it arises. You'll help lead activity programming (in both languages), support members navigating social services, and keep accurate records in Salesforce.
What we're looking for:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written), with interpretation ability
- Several years of experience in social services, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service, ideally with people experiencing homelessness and/or mental illness
- A calm, steady presence with real-world conflict resolution skills
- Comfort with computers/data entry (Salesforce or similar)
- Associate's degree in a related field, or equivalent life/work experience in social services
Schedule: Thursday–Monday, 35 hrs/week (includes both Saturday and Sunday — non-negotiable)
Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank is an equal opportunity employer and a Fair Chance employer — we do not conduct criminal background checks until after a conditional offer of employment.
