    Description

    About Us

Located in the heart of historic Pike Place Market, Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank has served our Seattle neighbors since 1978. We're looking for a Bilingual Member Services Coordinator to be the welcoming, steady presence our senior members count on every day.

What you'll do: This role is the primary point of contact for members in both English and Spanish — providing information, offering interpretation, connecting people with resources, and calmly de-escalating conflict when it arises. You'll help lead activity programming (in both languages), support members navigating social services, and keep accurate records in Salesforce.

    What we're looking for:

    • Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written), with interpretation ability
    • Several years of experience in social services, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service, ideally with people experiencing homelessness and/or mental illness
    • A calm, steady presence with real-world conflict resolution skills
    • Comfort with computers/data entry (Salesforce or similar)
    • Associate's degree in a related field, or equivalent life/work experience in social services

    Schedule: Thursday–Monday, 35 hrs/week (includes both Saturday and Sunday — non-negotiable)

Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank is an equal opportunity employer and a Fair Chance employer — we do not conduct criminal background checks until after a conditional offer of employment.

    Benefits

    Benefits include:

    • Group Insurance: Medical/dental/vision
    • Employee Assistance Program
    • Vacation: Earn up to 16 days during year 1; 18 days year 2; 20 days year 3 and beyond
    • Holidays: Full-time staff receive 10 paid holidays/year
    • Personal Days: Full-time staff receive 2 paid personal days/year
    • Sick Leave: Accrue 1.6 hours of sick leave per 35 hours worked (our full-time hours) which equates to 12 seven-hour workdays/year
    • Transportation Benefits: Agency-paid ORCA card for use on bus, ferry, monorail, Link Light Rail, Sounder Train, Water Taxi/Foot Ferry, Bus Rapid Transit, and Streetcar, and On Demand
    • Training: Monthly staff training days and educational training opportunities
