    About Us:

Reclaim RI is a member-led housing justice organization. We fight for a world where everyone is guaranteed a stable and dignified home. Our organization operates with both a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arm dedicated to organizing, education, and advocacy, and a 501(c)(4) nonprofit wing focused on lobbying and electoral activities. We have a unique partnership with the legendary and militant healthcare workers union, SEIU 1199 New England. Together we are building a fighting statewide tenants union, with 1199NE’s Organizing Director supervising our staff organizers and directing our tenant union campaigns. Reclaim’s volunteer leaders run our legislative and electoral campaigns. We are working to make organized tenants into a political force in Rhode Island, with the long-term goal of making Rhode Island a beacon of social democracy in the United States

    • Ensure compliance with all legal, financial, and administrative requirements for both the 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) entities.
    • Supervise and support staff in coordination with the Organizing Director, fostering a positive, inclusive organizational culture.
    • Track and evaluate the impact of programs and activities, adjusting strategies to maximize effectiveness.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in nonprofit leadership and political/community/labor organizing within left social movements.
    • Strong understanding of the distinctions and operational requirements of 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations.
