Position Description
The Operations Coordinator is crucial in ensuring NAWL's smooth day-to-day operations. As a highly organized multi-tasker with exceptional communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a positive, proactive attitude, the Coordinator is an essential member of the small yet dynamic NAWL team. The successful candidate will take ownership of assigned projects and responsibilities, ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed accurately and thoroughly. They provide comprehensive support to NAWL staff, the Board, and members, ensuring all organizational interactions are positive, efficient, and productive. The Coordinator combines professionalism, attentiveness, and accuracy, fostering a collaborative and welcoming environment for internal and external stakeholders. This role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality.

- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing deadlines and independently drive projects to completion.
- Aptitude in MS Office applications, website content management and association management, CRM, and or comparable database systems.
Primary Duties
- Serve as the main contact for inquiries and efficiently handle the main inbox and phone line to ensure timely and accurate responses.
- Provide comprehensive scheduling assistance, including booking appointments and preventing conflicts.
- Regularly update the website and maintain the membership database, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Issue Continuing Legal Education (CLE) certificates.
- Support various committee work.
- Coordinate special projects, including the Outstanding Law Student Awards and internship candidate intake processes, taking responsibility for timelines, communications, and successful execution.
- Provide other general administrative support.
- May travel to and help support conferences.

Education & Experience
Must have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year university. 2+ years of administrative support experience or customer service experience preferred. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ownership of projects in prior roles.
