Descripción
Position responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison with school personnel, families, the community, local agencies, and consultants.
- Participate on school site visit teams; conduct classroom observations, review records, and interview administrators, staff, and students.
- Draft and issue timely site visit reports.
- Travel to and attend school board meetings; draft and disseminate summaries.
- Provide technical assistance to schools in the region.
- Interact with the Ohio Department of Education and other agencies as necessary.
- Assist with sponsor evaluation.
- Attend in person conferences, professional development, staff meetings and retreats.
Position requires
- Superior communication and writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage individuals at all organizational levels.
- Knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices and experience evaluating teachers’ effectiveness.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Ability to travel for morning and evening school board meetings monthly and ability to travel for on-site school visits.
- Ability to meet deadlines, work independently and collaborate with various teams.
- Bachelor’s degree, current licensure, experience teaching.
