    Description

    Position responsibilities

    • Serve as a liaison with school personnel, families, the community, local agencies, and consultants.
    • Participate on school site visit teams; conduct classroom observations, review records, and interview administrators, staff, and students.
    • Draft and issue timely site visit reports.
    • Travel to and attend school board meetings; draft and disseminate summaries.
    • Provide technical assistance to schools in the region.
    • Interact with the Ohio Department of Education and other agencies as necessary.
    • Assist with sponsor evaluation.
    • Attend in person conferences, professional development, staff meetings and retreats.

    Position requires

    • Superior communication and writing skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage individuals at all organizational levels.
    • Knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices and experience evaluating teachers’ effectiveness.
    • Superior attention to detail.
    • Ability to travel for morning and evening school board meetings monthly and ability to travel for on-site school visits.
    • Ability to meet deadlines, work independently and collaborate with various teams.
    • Bachelor’s degree, current licensure, experience teaching.
