    About Small Things

Our Heart: We can do no great things, only small things with great love.

    Our Vision: Stability opens doors.

Our Mission: Small Things provides targeted access to nutritious food, workforce development, and services to advance family stability in high-poverty neighborhoods.

Our History: Small Things started as a 501(c)3 in the pandemic of 2020, providing millions of meals across the city from our Roxborough warehouse, aided by thousands of volunteer moments. Now, three (soon to be four) Small Things Markets provide dignified, full-choice shopping experiences in low-stability neighborhoods. Together with Philabundance and other major food banks, we also stock more than 50 local pantries across the region.
