PUBLIC TRANSIT PROXIMITY: ½ block from F Line, 1 block from Bus lines 6 & 7
SCHEDULE:
Number of hrs. per week: 40hrs. per week
Days of the week: Generally Monday-Friday (flexibility with weekend for Programs & Events)
POSITION SUMMARY: Openhouse seeks a highly organized, solutions-focused and detail-oriented Data & Programs Assistant to support our programs for LGBTQ+ older adults and adults with disabilities. This full-time position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and complete data collection, supporting program logistics and providing general administrative assistance. The ideal candidate will be dependable, collaborative and skilled with working with a variety of databases.
ABOUT OPENHOUSE: Openhouse was founded in 1998 to enable Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) older adults to overcome the unique challenges they face as they age by providing LGBTQ+ welcoming housing, resources, high-impact direct services, and innovative community programs. As a result, Openhouse reduces isolation and empowers LGBTQ older adults to improve their overall health, well-being, and economic security.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, as well as proficiency in Excel are helpful.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Full COVID vaccination required (or approved accommodation). Physical skills and abilities to perform work required, such as commuting and transporting from Openhouse offices to community member homes. Other physical duties may include grocery and household need shopping and delivery. Additional program related obligations.
COMPENSATION: Starting range is $26.00 - 30.00 hourly. Compensation is commensurate with experience and language capacity. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) non-exempt position.
