    Part-Time Marketing Coordinator / Content Creator

    Schedule: Part-time, three days per week

    Work Arrangement: Two days on-site and one day remote, or three days on-site

    Compensation: Paid part-time position based on experience

    China Institute of America is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Part-Time Marketing Coordinator / Content Creator to support our marketing and communications efforts. This role is ideal for someone with strong visual storytelling skills, social media experience, and a passion for arts, culture, education, and cross-cultural exchange.

    The Part-Time Marketing Coordinator / Content Creator will assist in developing digital content across China Institute’s social media, website, email, and promotional channels. The ideal candidate is skilled in video editing, especially short-form content for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and WeChat/RED-style social content. Experience in graphic design, motion graphics, animation, and bilingual English/Chinese communications is highly preferred.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Create and edit short-form videos for social media (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
    • Design graphics and marketing materials for digital and print platforms.
    • Produce simple motion graphics and animations to support campaigns.
    • Assist with social media content creation, scheduling, and event coverage.
    • Adapt content for English and Chinese audiences when needed.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team on creative projects and promotional campaigns.

    Qualifications

    • Experience editing short-form social media videos.
    • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut).
    • Experience with motion graphics or animation is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of social media trends and content creation.
    • Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
    • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Interest in Chinese culture, arts, education, nonprofit communications, or cultural exchange is a plus.
    • Must be available at least three days per week.
    • Must have valid U.S. work authorization.
