About the Role
The Home Delivered Meals (HDM) Coordinator is a vital member of our Luncheon Club team—ensuring that homebound older adults receive nutritious meals safely, reliably, and with compassion. This role blends logistics, teamwork, and heart: you’ll coordinate daily meal delivery operations, support volunteers and drivers, maintain compliance standards, and help ensure that every client feels seen, supported, and cared for.

What You’ll Do
- Coordinate all aspects of the HDM program, including intake, eligibility, and reassessments
- Prepare daily delivery routes and volunteer schedules, adjusting in real time as needed
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with NYC Aging and City Meals on Wheels standards
- Lead delivery crews through training, team‑building, and safety initiatives
- Support emergency, holiday, and weather‑related delivery planning
- Collaborate closely with case management, volunteers, and program leadership
- Provide coverage as needed—including stepping in for deliveries during staff absences
- Assist with monthly reporting, documentation, and audit preparation

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years in program coordination, meal delivery, or social services
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with systems like PeerPlace , Vive, or STARS a plus
- Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply—Spanish especially valued
- Familiarity with NYC Aging standards and food service safety protocols is helpful
Work Environment
This is an on‑site, full‑time (35 hours/week) role based at our multi‑level Luncheon Club. The position includes both administrative work and light physical activity (lifting up to 20 lbs, moving throughout the facility, supporting delivery coordination).
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Wednesday early close). Every other Saturday is required. Occasional evenings/weekends for special events or emergency operations. All staff participate in our cherished annual Christmas Day meal service.

Compensación
CBN provides health and dental insurance to all employees, with 100% employer paid options. Health insurance is offered through Oxford, and the dental plan is through Guardian. New hires are eligible for Health, Dental, and Life Insurance benefits effective on the first of the month following completion of one calendar month of employment after the hire date.
Regular full-time employees accrue up to fifteen (15) days of vacation per year, ten (10) days of sick leave, and four (4) days of personal leave each year, or one (1) day per quarter.
