    To provide hot, healthy nutritious meals to one and all regardless of ability to pay. To help change the way people interact with their food and one another. We want to do our part to alleviate hunger and promote health by offering local, high quality foods on a pay what you can basis. We believe that by treating people with dignity and respect, we can help create a thriving, and economically strong community.

    Acerca de

    The Kitchen Table Inc opened on June 30, 2016. We prepare a family style dinner every Tuesday and Thursday. Anyone is welcome to come dine with us. We treat everyone the same, with respect and dignity. We allow people to choose how much they pay. This concept ensure that all get to get to eat regardless of their means. Our community cafe is operated on volunteer hours. We do not have an payroll. We have been recognized by the Chicago Tribune in the Thanksgiving edition of 2017. And then in March 2019, we had a surprise visit from Mike Rowe and his show 'Returning the Favor.’
