The Guru Charitable Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit, tax-exempt organization devoted to improving the quality of education, the arts and medical care in the war-torn Kashmir Valley. GCF offers educational scholarships and extracurricular programs, teacher-training, a school-based vision screening program and a Women's Health Initiative, among other health and cultural initiatives The GCF Kashmiri Public Library is a unique digital archive of publications, visual arts and oral history audio recordings produced in or about Kashmir.
GCF is based in Buffalo, NY and Srinagar, Kashmir.
