Strategic Plan

Our strategic plan – An Aquarium Without Walls – aims to deepen the community’s connection to Long Island Sound and the ocean over the next 10 years and inspire bold action to protect and sustain our blue planet for future generations.

DEAI

The issues of diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion (DEAI) have long been important ones for The Maritime Aquarium. In the fall of 2020, we convened a DEAI Committee, and in 2021, we unveiled a DEAI Action Plan to articulate our overall goals and approach, as well as our activities and programs, aligned with DEAI priorities.
