Trusted Mentors

Trusted Mentors uses the power of mentoring to help stabilize the lives of adults at-risk of homelessness, ex-offenders working to successfully re-enter society, and young adults aging out of foster care. These one-on-one matches provide support and basic life skills that help break the cycle of poverty that leads to homelessness and incarceration.

In 2010, Trusted Mentors matched 85 mentoring pairs. 86% of our clients remained housed while in our program, with 81% of ex-offenders remaining out of incarceration. Our mentors helped stabilize the lives of 109 children in 2010 by helping to stabilize the lives of their parents.
