SALVUS WELLNESS DANCE CENTER INC

SALVUS Wellness Dance Center Inc. (501c-3) accepts the challenge to make dancing affordable, and promote the scientifically proven health benefits of dance to a broader audience. The National Council on Aging (2016) asserts that senior center participants have higher levels of health social interaction and life satisfaction despite lower income levels.

This center will collaborate with the doctors and physician assistants affiliated with Salvus Medical Clinic. This clinic established 10 years ago boasts a Podiatrist, a Physiatrist (who treats a wide variety of medical conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons), a Massage therapist and a PA (specializing in cardiovascular disease) all of whom are ballroom dancers who are proponents of the cardiovascular benefits of ballroom dancing. SALVUS Wellness Dance Center is currently in the process of gaining accreditation through the National Council on Aging.
