Parkinson's Education and Support Group of Sussex County

We actively nurture hope, resolve, and engagement in those living with Parkinson’s Disease and their care partners in Sussex County. Through our many available resources and our comprehensive, innovative programs, our members find purpose, higher quality of life, and a caring community around them as they continuously strive to make every moment count.

The Parkinson's Education and Support Group of Sussex County (PESGSC) is an IRS-recognized 501c3 nonprofit organization incorporated in Delaware. Founded in 2009 in Sussex County, Delaware, PESGSC has grown to more than 250 members. It has become one of the largest nonprofit Parkinson’s Disease organizations in Delaware.

Our group is made of people living with Parkinson's, their care partners, their loved ones, healthcare providers, certified exercise instructors, music directors, speech therapists, community leaders, university researchers, and individual volunteers who come together on behalf of our shared mission. As a grassroots organization, we rely on the generous support of donors, sponsors, and grantors to provide services to the growing population of people living with Parkinson’s in Sussex County.
