At Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil CIC, our mission is to empower Black, African, and Caribbean individuals to heal, grow, and lead through truth-telling, education, and community transformation.

We exist to break generational cycles of trauma, silence, and social inequality by creating safe spaces for storytelling, mental health awareness, and personal development. Through our podcasts, digital media training, and mentorship programmes, we help individuals turn their lived experiences into leadership, creativity, and entrepreneurship.

Our goal is to build a global network of truth-tellers and change makers who challenge stigma, celebrate identity, and use their voices to inspire collective healing and progress.

Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil CIC is a Black-led Survivor-led community interest company based in the UK, dedicated to supporting Black, African, and Caribbean communities through healing, empowerment, and personal transformation.

We believe that lasting change begins with truth — speaking it, living it, and using it to inspire growth. Our work focuses on addressing the deep-rooted issues affecting our communities, including trauma, mental health stigma, broken homes, and generational patterns that limit potential.

Through our programmes, workshops, podcasts, and digital media training, we equip individuals with the tools to tell their stories, build confidence, and develop skills that open doors to new opportunities. We blend emotional wellbeing with creative education, empowering participants to heal from the past while gaining practical knowledge in areas such as podcasting, entrepreneurship, social media, and leadership.

Our core values are truth, empowerment, education, community, and transformation. We operate from a belief in “each one teach one,” ensuring that those we support are also equipped to support others, creating a ripple effect of positive change.

We serve young people and adults aged 16–35 from Black British, African, and Caribbean backgrounds — especially those from disadvantaged or care-experienced situations — helping them rebuild their lives, discover purpose, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

At Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil CIC, we are more than an organisation; we are a movement for self-awareness, collective healing, and the empowerment of a new generation of leaders who dare to speak their truth and transform the world around them.
