Why do we exist?Panama is constantly ranked as one of the Latin American countries with the worst education systems. Since public education is very deficient, those who have income spend fortunes in private schools to offer a better future to their children, making the gap between rich and poor even wider. With this problem in mind, the Centro Ludovico de Casoria opened in 2010 (thanks to the help of many donors), offering affordable private and bilingual education to unprivileged children. For this school year (school starts in Feb. 2016) it already has enrollments of 130 children, from Kinder to 6th grade.Mission and Vision:In the Centro Educativo Ludovico we strive to offer the best education possible to our students, but we also belief in the importance of teaching our students the importance of having good values and moral standards. Our mission is to form students that will become independent men and women, responsible, and able to have the tools to become successful professionals in the future, but also outstanding citizens with high moral standards. Why do we need you?Since the tuition is half of what other private schools charge in the area, and the tuition includes daily lunch for the students, the school is cash-constraint. Thus, it struggles to get good quality English speaking teachers who want to create an impact on these children's lives.
