Pickleball for PINK

Pickleball for PINK's mission is to fight breast cancer by raising critical funds for awareness and life-saving research through the power of community, competition, and pickleball.

Founded in Quincy, Illinois in 2024, we are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that donates 100% of net proceeds to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, which is the largest private funder of breast cancer research in the world. In just two years, our community has raised over $8,600 for life-saving research, and we are just getting started.

We believe that real change happens when people come together around something that matters. Every tournament we host, every dollar we raise, and every person who shows up brings us closer to a world without breast cancer.

Pickleball for PINK was born out of a simple belief — that a community coming together around a sport can do something meaningful. We host an annual pickleball tournament and donate every dollar raised to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, where 91 cents of every dollar goes directly to life-saving research.

We are led by two young people from Quincy, Illinois who started this organization in high school because they saw the impact breast cancer has on real families in their community. We are not a corporate fundraiser. We are not a large organization with a big staff. We are a small team that shows up every year because we believe it matters.

The people we serve are the ones who have been touched by breast cancer. This includes the survivors, the families, the friends who have lost someone, and the researchers working every day to find better treatments and a cure. At our first tournament, a mother and her young daughter approached us in tears and told us the event made them feel seen and not alone. That moment is why we do this.

We value authenticity, community, and relentless forward progress. We are expanding to multi-city tournaments in Chicago, Florida, and beyond in 2027, with a long-term goal of raising $250,000 or more annually. But no matter how large we grow, the mission stays the same; make people feel like they are not fighting this alone.
