Descripción
The Director of Grants is a volunteer leadership role at Pickleball for PINK, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to fighting breast cancer through community-driven pickleball tournaments. This is a real position with real responsibility. You will work directly with our founding team to identify, pursue, and secure grant funding that supports our mission and fuels our growth.
Responsibilities
- Research grant opportunities from private foundations, corporate giving programs, and government sources
- Draft compelling, well-researched grant applications on behalf of Pickleball for PINK
- Manage a grants calendar and track submission deadlines
- Maintain records of submitted applications and outcomes
- Communicate directly with co-founders on pipeline progress and strategy
- Help identify new funding sources as the organization expands nationally
Qualifications
- Current high school student with strong written communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal oversight
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Genuine interest in nonprofit work, fundraising, or social impact
- Prior writing experience, whether academic, journalistic, or otherwise, is a plus but not required
Additional Details
- This is a fully remote, volunteer position
- Time commitment is flexible and can be worked around a school schedule
- You will carry the title of Director of Grants at a registered 501(c)(3) organization, which carries real weight on college applications and resumes
- You will gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising, grant writing, and organizational strategy working directly alongside the founding team
