The mission of AHSHAY is to build up the fortifiers of hope and wellness for youth and unbuild the fortifications of youth incarceration and youth homelessness. AHSHAY’s values include: Abundance, Relationships, Joy, Wellness, Equity, Co-Creation, Youth Brilliance and Persistence

AHSHAY is strategically positioned to bridge a host of perspectives and expertise by being dually connected to the University of Washington and the Tubman Center for Health & Freedom (Tubman Health). AHSHAY team members and work structure tends to engage people across a spectrum of ages, lived experiences, avocations and perspectives; all with a focus on the voices of youth most- proximate to impact from incarceration and homelessness.
