The Oaks Academy

Growing from 52 students in 1998 to more than 1,000 today, The Oaks Academy addresses the important need for high quality, faith-based education in Indianapolis. With 3 locations in downtown Indianapolis, we are on track to enroll more than 1,200 students within the next few years.

By mission, The Oaks Academy maintains a racially and socioeconomically diverse student body and we have been recognized locally and nationally as a model of diversity, community renewal, and academic success. Parents are drawn to our Christ-Centered education and commitment to diversity, alongside our history of academic excellence. Our students consistently score in the top 3% in the state on standardized testing, which led to The Oaks being named the #1 Indiana School Corporation in 2015 & 2017. Additionally, Alumni of The Oaks go on to attend and excel at some of the best high schools in Indianapolis and colleges across the state and country.

Diverse by design, The Oaks follows benchmarks for racial and socioeconomic diversity with a student population that is approximately 40% Black, 40% White, adn 20% Hispanic, Asian, or Multiracial and families that are 25% high-income, 25% middle-income, and 50% low-income. As a non-profit, independent school we distribute over $3 million in scholarships that allow for over 80% of our families to receive some form of financial aid.
