Everything Begins With You inspires generosity, leadership through service, and meaningful community engagement. We help people turn good intentions into real impact through simple, accessible pathways for giving, serving, and leading causes that matter.

Everything Begins With You is a service-oriented community and 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on generosity, leadership through service, and meaningful community engagement.

Many people want to help but don’t know where to start, or feel disconnected from traditional institutions. We provide clear, flexible ways for individuals to engage in service that fits their lives and values.

Our model guides people through four levels of participation:

1. Rounding up spare change to support community needs
2. Giving 1% of income to causes that matter
3. Leading a cause or initiative under Everything Begins With You
4. Launching an affiliated organization when ready

We support projects across the country wherever members of our community are positioned to make a meaningful difference. Impact does not require living in the same place—but it does require proximity to the cause, strong local insight, and a commitment to responsible action.

Our initiatives focus on practical service, generosity, and civic engagement, with an emphasis on real-world impact, accountability, and stewardship.

Participation is open and there is no formal membership requirement. Opportunities range from hands-on service to leadership and systems-building roles, and many opportunities are remote or hybrid.
