Fresh Start Recovery is a nonprofit organization based in Portland, Oregon, dedicated to supporting African Americans battling addiction and homelessness. Founded by Markas Curtis in 2024, we offer holistic assistance, including counseling, housing aid, and community integration.
Our Goals:
- Empower individuals to overcome addiction and homelessness.
- Provide immediate support and resources.
- Foster long-term recovery and community integration.
- Promote self-sufficiency and personal growth.
Our Programs:
- Rehabilitation Programs: Culturally sensitive counseling and therapy.
- Transitional Housing: Safe housing solutions.
- Job Training: Skills and employment referrals.
