Paper Airplanes provides free online language tutoring and skills-based learning opportunities to individuals affected by conflict. Our mission is to support learners in building the English language, digital, technical, academic, and professional skills they need to access higher education, employment, and meaningful opportunities.

Through our English Program, Women in Technology Program, and Professional Skills Development Program, we connect students with dedicated volunteers from around the world, creating a flexible, supportive, and inclusive online learning community for people whose education and career pathways have been disrupted by conflict.

Paper Airplanes is a nonprofit organization providing free online learning opportunities for individuals affected by conflict. Through our English Program, Women in Technology Program, and Professional Skills Development Program, we support learners in developing the language, digital, academic, and career skills they need to pursue higher education, employment, and future opportunities.

To date, Paper Airplanes has supported 4,022 learners, including 3,901 students through the English Program. Our programs are delivered remotely by a global community of volunteers, tutors, mentors, and staff who are committed to making education more accessible for people whose opportunities have been disrupted by conflict.

Our work is built on inclusion, flexibility, dignity, and learner-centered support. By offering free, online, and accessible learning opportunities, we help students strengthen their confidence, communication skills, digital literacy, and career readiness while connecting them with a supportive international community.
