Baltimore Homecoming, Inc.

The mission of Baltimore Homecoming is to build an alumni network of accomplished Baltimore natives from around the U.S. and reconnect them with Baltimore, reawakening and deepening personal ties to the city and sparking new partnerships, investments and collaborations. The program is modeled loosely off the Detroit Homecoming, which has successfully mobilized tens of millions of dollars in investments in that city. The event was attended by over 100 alumni, including noted celebrities, business executives, athletes, and entertainers. We are now looking towards the future, with plans to organize the third annual annual Homecoming event, work closely with alumni to facilitate their investments back into Baltimore, and organize regional events with Baltimoreans in key urban markets around the U.S.

Baltimore Homecoming, Inc. was founded in summer 2017. It is a 501(c)(3) organization with an annual budget of approximately $1 million. The organization is based in southeast Baltimore.
