The YWCA COC is dedicated to empowering women by providing high quality programs such as My Sister’s Closet, which provides clothing for women in need; Joanie’s Purse Project, which provides purses and toilettries to women in shelters; the Dorothy Halleck Scholarship and Beverly’s House First Steps, a unique residency program for young women recently emancipated from foster care upon turning 18.
