The Kiona Foundation is dedicated to advancing research, education, and access to holistic, botanical-based therapies--especially for children and families facing cancer--while championing health equity and empowering communities through compassionate care.

The Kiona Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to transforming the future of healthcare by researching novel, plant-based treatment options and supporting families navigating the challenges of cancer. Named in honor of a beloved child lost to brain cancer, our work is rooted in compassion, advocacy, and innovation. We support pioneering clinical research, offer educational programs on natural health and the endocannabinoid system, and provide vital resources to families facing housing insecurity during medical treatment. Volunteers are the heartbeat of our mission, helping us bring hope, healing, and change to those who need it most.
