Open Floor International

Open Floor International is a global nonprofit organization that supports people who are committed to using embodied movement and dance to foster more authentic, emotionally intelligent, and resilient individuals and communities. Open Floor International serves and connects Open Floor and other movement teachers and practitioners, professionals from a wide variety of fields, and community members, as well as our financial supporters and all those who contribute their time, expertise and other resources to achieve our vision.

OFI is a nonprofit educational organization founded in 2013 to teach dance and mindful movement for personal healing, professional growth, and community building. Since our founding, we have trained more than 300 teachers worldwide. We use Sociocracy (also known as Dynamic Governance) to guide the work of our volunteers and 3 contract staff.
