Filling in the Blanks fights childhood hunger by providing needy children with meals on the weekends
Acerca de
Filling in the Blanks provides weekend meals to needy children who are eligible for the free or reduced lunch program. This program is available throughout the year, including the summer months. For just $5.00 a weekend, each child is provided with with a bag of non-perishable, easy to prepare food items.
Many organizations, schools, families and individuals give their time to fill backpacks for children in need of meals on the weekends. Volunteers fulfill a very important step in the process of delivering food and supplies to where they are needed most.
Every other weekend volunteers pack bags of food which are then deliver to schools on a weekly basis.
