South Side in Focus

South Side in Focus uses photo-narratives to initiate an open, personal, and holistic dialogue about life in South Side communities. This project also aims to give South Side residents a chance to share their unique experiences and perspectives.If you are involved in a community organization that would like to collaborate with us on a future or ongoing project, please email us at ssif.uchicago@gmail.com. We are always looking for volunteers to interview participants and offer unpaid internships to students who would like experience with social media, public arts, grant writing, marketing, etc. We are also looking for Chicago artists to lead workshops for our participants.
