About Us
South Side in Focus uses photo-narratives to initiate an open, personal, and holistic dialogue about life in South Side communities. This project also aims to give South Side residents a chance to share their unique experiences and perspectives.

We are always looking for volunteers to interview participants and offer unpaid internships to students who would like experience with social media, public arts, grant writing, marketing, etc.
We are also looking for Chicago artists to lead workshops for our participants. If you are involved with poetry, photography, or story-telling, we would love to get in touch and see how we could collaborate with you!
