About Eating Disorders Nova Scotia

Eating Disorders Nova Scotia is a community-based organization with an audacious belief; that no-one should have to face an eating disorder alone.

We know that with treatment and support recovery is possible. We draw upon the lived experience of those who have been through an eating disorder, creating an accessible, welcoming, pro-recovery space and supports that are accessible, validating, and compassionate.

Our supports include one-on-one Mentoring, Peer Support Groups, Peer Support Chat, Workshops, Nutritional Counselling, and Family Support, and are delivered virtually. A referral or a diagnosis are not required to start one’s healing journey. Weknow that recovery from an eating disorder is tough – accessing support and treatment shouldn’t be.
