About Eating Disorders Nova Scotia
Eating Disorders Nova Scotia is a community-based organization with an audacious belief; that no-one should have to face an eating disorder alone. We support people across Canada through our national program: Body Peace Canada
We know that with treatment and support recovery is possible. We draw upon the lived experience of those who have been through an eating disorder, creating an accessible, welcoming, pro-recovery space and supports that are accessible, validating, and compassionate.
Our virtual supports include Peer Support, Workshops, Family Peer Support and services from Dietitians and Therapists. A referral or a diagnosis are not required to start one’s healing journey. We know that recovery from an eating disorder is tough – accessing support and treatment shouldn’t be.
We draw upon the lived experience of those who have been through an eating disorder, creating an accessible, welcoming, pro-recovery space and supports that are accessible, validating, and compassionate.
