We are here to help underprivileged, talented youngsters to develop 21st century and employability skills for a brighter future. Because Brazil’s children are the most important asset for the country to thrive

We are a Volunteer - NGO in Rio de Janeiro, and have love and passion for the children and young people living in urban poverty in the slums in Rio de Janeiro - south zone. We give them the opportunity to gain valuable life skills and fosters their development towards becoming positive members of their community. We teach them English, Web Design, Entrepreneurship skills, to mention some. We have an after-school program and a soccer program.

Over 120 people were and are part of EduMais, everyone is very dedicated to create a safe place for children to explore, to experiment and to learn, while feeling connected and important. We at EduMais strive to be the place where underprivileged children and youth feel encouraged and motivated to keep on learning and developing.

Our current volunteer team on site is about 18 people strong and they come from all over the globe but mainly the USA, UK, Europe, New Zealand and Brazil.

Educating is an act of love. Volunteering is an act of love.
