Volunteer with an NGO in Rio de Janeiro to educate underprivileged children in the slums of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, South America.

We are a Volunteer - NGO in Rio de Janeiro, working with underprivileged children living in the slums. We at EduMais love and have passion for the children and young people living in underprivileged circumstances in the slums in Rio de Janeiro´s south zone. We give them the opportunity to gain valuable life skills and fosters their development towards becoming positive members of their community. We teach them English, Web Design, Entrepreneurship skills, to mention some. We have an after-school program and a soccer program.

All our volunteers are very dedicated to create a safe place for children to explore, to experiment and to learn, while feeling connected and important. We at EduMais strive to be the place where underprivileged children and youth feel encouraged and motivated to keep on learning and developing.

Our volunteer team is about 18 people strong and they come from all over the globe but mainly the USA, UK, Europe, New Zealand and Brazil.
