Forever Tybee

Forever Tybee is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life on Tybee Island by fostering community engagement, strengthening neighborhoods, preserving the island's unique character, and advocating for the needs of residents. The organization encourages ethical and transparent government through citizen education, public forums, information sharing, and civic engagement.

Forever Tybee is the only organization on Tybee Island, a 3000 person barrier island, that represents the resident community's voice. The island is for residential living as well as a popular tourist destination. Forever Tybee hosts Potlucks and Programs, ice cream socials, Newcomer dinners, celebrates Good Neighbor Day annually, and works to build community connections among residents. A key focus is supporting transparency and sound decisions by local government. Forever Tybee attends every city council meeting and every city committee meeting and sends a detailed report to members of all upcoming decisions. In election years, Forever Tybee publishes a Voter Guide, conducts Candidate Forums, and organizes Meet and Greet opportunities.
