    Position: Business Relationship Manager

    Commitment: Approximately 20 hours per month

    Location: Remote or Hybrid (UK-based)

    Contract Type: Volunteer

You could play a crucial role in creating exciting partnerships, establishing and expanding relationships with corporate partners, donors, grant-making Trusts and Foundations. Additionally, you will also lead the way in creating, and implementing innovative income generating initiatives.

    Overview:

    We are looking for a proactive and strategic individual to serve as our Volunteer Business Relationship Manager. In this role, you will cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate partners, stakeholders, and donors to support our organisation's growth and sustainability. Your efforts will help build a strong network that advances our mission and enhances our community impact.

    You will secure unrestricted income to drive our strategic plan of Building the New Different for the next 3 years. You will have proven experience in business relationship management, admin or fundraising, preferably within the charity, or not for profit sector. However, relevant experience with a track record will be considered.

    • You will work closely with our Business Development Manager with a team of dedicated volunteers to achieve targeted financial goals to increase our reserves.
    • You must be highly organised, with exceptional time management and project management skills to meet stringent deadlines.
    • You must be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse team to achieve organisational objectives.
    • You will be passionate about our mission and committed to ethical conduct and confidentiality in handling sensitive donor information
    • You will have demonstrated ability in planning and executing successful fundraising campaigns and events to generate income.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify and engage potential corporate partners and donors to establish mutually beneficial relationships.
    • Maintain regular communication with existing partners, providing updates and recognising their contributions.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to develop partnership proposals and sponsorship packages.
    • Represent the organisation at networking events and meetings to promote our work and explore new opportunities.
    • Track and report on partnership activities, outcomes, and areas for growth.

    Requirements:

    • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
    • Experience in business development, sales, or partnership management is advantageous.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple relationships effectively.
    • Passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to making a difference.

    Commitment:

    Approximately 20 hours per month, with flexibility to accommodate meetings and events.
