POSITION SUMMARY
The Content Creator is considered a departmental position and reports to the Digital Director. The Content Creator at Beyond the Ballot is responsible for producing compelling, politically resonant content that mobilizes our base, communicates our mission, and uplifts the voices of working people across the country. As part of the Communications Department, the Content Creator works closely with organizers, policy staff, and leadership to turn key campaign messages into engaging social media posts, graphics, short-form videos, email blasts, and other multimedia assets. This role requires a sharp understanding of digital storytelling, a strong commitment to progressive values, and the ability to adapt tone and format for diverse platforms and audiences. This position plays a vital role in shaping how the public sees and supports our work, especially during moments of rapid response or high-stakes political mobilization. This position demands not just technical skill, but also a deep alignment with our grassroots ethos, respect for lived experience, and passion for advancing a working-class agenda.

Vision: Ability to read small print and view a computer screen for prolonged periods
