Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education (CAPE) is seeking friendly, reliable volunteers to help make ARTJOY 2026 a success. ARTJOY is CAPE's fundraiser celebrating the power of arts-integrated education while raising critical funds to support students, artists, and teachers across Chicago.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteers may be assigned to one or more of the following roles:
- Assist with event setup prior to guest arrival
- Welcome guests and provide directions throughout the venue
- Support ticketing and guest check-in
- Help answer basic event questions and ensure a positive guest experience
- Assist with end-of-night breakdown, cleanup, and resetting the event space
Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Comfortable interacting with guests and working as part of a team
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Able to lift and move light event materials (for setup and breakdown volunteers)
Time Commitment: 2-3 hrs
