    ARTJOY Volunteer

    Event Date: Saturday, September 12, 2026

    Location: CAPE Gallery, 1010 W 35th Street, Suite 697

    Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education (CAPE) is seeking friendly, reliable volunteers to help make ARTJOY 2026 a success. ARTJOY is CAPE's fundraiser celebrating the power of arts-integrated education while raising critical funds to support students, artists, and teachers across Chicago.

    Volunteer Responsibilities

    Volunteers may be assigned to one or more of the following roles:

    • Assist with event setup prior to guest arrival
    • Welcome guests and provide directions throughout the venue
    • Support ticketing and guest check-in
    • Help answer basic event questions and ensure a positive guest experience
    • Assist with end-of-night breakdown, cleanup, and resetting the event space

    Qualifications

    • Friendly, professional, and dependable
    • Comfortable interacting with guests and working as part of a team
    • Able to stand and walk for extended periods
    • Able to lift and move light event materials (for setup and breakdown volunteers)

    Time Commitment: 2-3 hrs
