    Most shifts are 1-2 hours. Sign up online through our website or https://signup.com/go/FZxBGmo . Volunteers should arrive at the St Johns Plaza 15 minutes before their shift. All volunteers get a free 2025 St Johns Bizarre cup for their service!

    Volunteers for the beer gardens must be over 21 years of age and have a valid ID. OLCC event training provided. Be prepared to perform the duties listed in the spot you sign up for, and check in 15 minutes prior to your shift.

    Volunteer at the 16th Annual St Johns Bizarre! May 10, 2025

    The 16th annual St. Johns Bizarre returns Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in downtown St. Johns! This is an entirely volunteer run event held in the business district of St Johns centered at N. Lombard and Philadelphia Ave in Portland, Oregon. This event is free to the public with two stages of live music, artisans, makers, creators, food vendors, community groups, and the St Johns Parade running right through the middle at noon.

    We have many volunteer opportunities both Friday, May 9 and Saturday, May 10 such as selling merch, pouring beer in the beer garden, setting up and taking down barricades, to name just a few.

    Thanks for your interest in volunteering at the 16th annual St. Johns Bizarre!

    We have a wide variety of shifts available (Beer garden, main & second stage, merchandise booth, etc.). The majority of our needs come on event day (Saturday, May 10th), but we also need some assistance for setting up on Friday, May 9th.     Please complete the participation waiver when requested by email before May 8th.

    And oh, did we mention that all volunteers get a free St. Johns Bizarre commemorative cup as our gift to you for helping out? We couldn't do it without you- Thank you!
