Creshendo is a young and rapidly growing organization exploring how AI and automation can strengthen our communications systems. We are looking for volunteers who are creative, curious, and eager to learn new digital tools. This role offers hands-on experience with emerging AI platforms, content automation, and social media strategy, and is ideal for someone who wants to build strong, marketable skills in a changing job landscape. Social media is one of the most powerful ways we connect with supporters, partners, and the communities we serve. As our Social Media Strategist, you’ll take the lead in designing data-driven strategies that elevate Creshendo’s voice, strengthen engagement, and expand our digital presence.
Your creativity and analytical thinking will help us share meaningful stories, highlight migrant and refugee perspectives, and grow our global community.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You’ll develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- You’ll create, curate, and oversee high-quality content across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others).
- You’ll analyze performance metrics and translate insights into improved content and strategy decisions.
- You’ll collaborate with marketing, design, and content leads to ensure consistent, mission-aligned messaging.
- You’ll stay on top of emerging trends, platform updates, and new tools—including AI-driven ones—to keep strategies fresh and competitive.
- You’ll manage content calendars, scheduling, and campaigns to maintain a strong digital presence.
- You’ll engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and help build an active online community.
- You’ll monitor competitor trends and broader sector conversations to identify new opportunities.
- You’ll regularly report on social media performance and impact.
Who This Role Is For
You might be a great fit if you:
- Have experience as a Social Media Strategist or in a similar role.
- Understand platform best practices, content trends, and audience behavior.
- Are confident using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Metricool, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
- Have strong written and visual communication skills.
- Enjoy analyzing data and turning insights into actionable improvements.
- Have a creative mindset and an eye for impactful storytelling.
- Are organized, collaborative, and motivated by mission-driven work.
Bonus: familiarity with SEO, content marketing, or digital advertising.
