Responsibilities - Business Development
- Account management
- Represent ASA accounts with approval from the President/CEO.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, organizations, and universities.
- Outreach
- Research potential clients, markets, and business opportunities.
- Maintain CRM and donor information.
- Represent ASA at in-person events when applicable.
- Deliver virtual ASA introduction presentations to universities and organizations.
- Business strategy
- Develop strategies to grow revenue through the job board, speaking events, and 1:1 coaching.
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and fundraisers.
- Prepare pitches, proposals, and presentations using the ASA case statement.
- Miscellaneous
- Maintain a strong understanding of ASA’s mission and programs.
- Train with and receive feedback from the President/CEO.
- Gather testimonials from event and workshop attendees.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
- Respond to email, Slack, and other written communication within 24 hours.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must live in the U.S.
- Valid U.S. work authorization (OPT accepted; no visa sponsorship or cost coverage).
- Are 20 years old or older
- Commit to 8-10 hours per week for at least 8 months.
- Reliable computer and Wi-Fi for a fully remote role.
- Comfortable with remote communication and basic outreach.
