Descripción
The National Finance Committee – Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision and guidance of the Director of Finance.
- Oversee regional and local chapters by providing financial guidance and general support.
- Assist in planning and delivering annual financial trainings for chapter leadership.
- Review and monitor chapter financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
- Support the creation of budgets and development of fundraising strategies and initiatives.
The National Finance Committee – Qualifications
- Education:
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (required).
- Preferred Background:
- Ideal for postgraduate or gap-year students pursuing or planning to pursue careers in MD, DO, PA, or other health-related fields (preferred, but not required).
- Experience:
- Prior experience in finance, accounting, or a treasury/financial leadership role is a strong plus.
