    Description

    The National Finance Committee – Responsibilities

    • Work under the supervision and guidance of the Director of Finance.
    • Oversee regional and local chapters by providing financial guidance and general support.
    • Assist in planning and delivering annual financial trainings for chapter leadership.
    • Review and monitor chapter financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
    • Support the creation of budgets and development of fundraising strategies and initiatives.

    The National Finance Committee – Qualifications

    • Education:
      • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (required).
    • Preferred Background:
      • Ideal for postgraduate or gap-year students pursuing or planning to pursue careers in MD, DO, PA, or other health-related fields (preferred, but not required).
    • Experience:
      • Prior experience in finance, accounting, or a treasury/financial leadership role is a strong plus.
